another roll of pinhole. here are some favorites.

speaking of pinholes... the link you shared the other day (matchboxpinhole.com) seems dead simple to reproduce!
however, i consider getting a pinhole lense for my micro four thirds camera. these go for 30€ or so, so no big deal. i'll post pictures when i finally decided to get one!

Cool! Really looking forward to seeing it. Be sure to post it in this thread.

Btw. All these pictures were also taking with the matchboxpinhole =)

Cool. Where in Norway are you going? I live in Oslo, but I would recommend going somewhere more quiet. Up north somewhere.

What did you have in mind? Would like to hear this =)

I played a gig at Sound of Mu in Oslo, Norway together with my friend Espen Skretteberg. We played one set each, and then we played a little set together in the end.

Really hope you will enjoy it.

ACOUSTIC ELECTRIC / Any good instrument/pedal shops in Tokyo?
« on: April 24, 2011, 07:16:29 am »
Of course there is. Can you tell me any?

The thing is, I have a friend who is studying there for 6 months and i would like to maybe tell him to pick up some stuff.
The thing i am mostly interested in is guitar pedals I think. Any good recommendations?

With websites(as he don't know what to get )

SELF PROMOTION / [Video] Live footage from an ambient gig I did.

Hi.
My name is Kristoffer Lislegaard, and I am an electronic musician from Norway.

This is an excerpt from a two hour performance at Norwegian Academy of Music. Everyone in my live electronics class were standing all over the school, playing ambient music. I was standing next to the soda machines, and even had a contact mic on one of them.

The whole session was improvised. I used two mices, one baritone guitar, my monome, launchpad and faderfox controller. I put the Genelec speakers on top of the soda machines and hidden behind a wall thing. This made the whole space behind the machines a great resonance chamber.

i just want to add that you hydrophone might be using 5v and not phantom. so you need a minijack input with plug i power.
there is a plug like this on most of the recorders on the marked today.

this is really great of you taylor.
we over at the monome forum are doing what we can, even though it's not as powerfull as you, we are releasing a free web album soon to talk people into donating. we tried to make it a "buy this album and the money goes to japan" but i turned out to be harder to set up than we wanted. but we are trying to get some donations going.
