billygomberg | canon S90 is a great small, for street etc camera. to be precise, each camera is great if you know what you doing. yes, i know many expensive cameras are so good such as leica m9. but.. when you have what you have, you can still have fun. not a question of what kind of camera you have. many people have so expensive cameras but result is still crap, on the other hand, i found this guy with homemade camera and he is a realy an artist.

his camera miroslav tichy

p.s.

it would be the best if you used manual settings on that camera.

nkl, I think you just introduced me to my new favorite photographer! Chris Friel's work is amaaaaaaazing! I like your version of it as well. Especially the first one.
I made a video a few years ago using a similar, controlled long exposure effect:
http://vimeo.com/375782

thanks buddy! your last two is great, specialy the last one.

i am so glad you (you and taylor) like this guy. i showed his work to others and they did not like it, or without response ???

for exif in his photos.. you must open the original photo in full resolution to see it. when he mentioned the "minimal editing", i think he is doing with these tools: channel mixer . selective color and probably color balance [color balance - if necessary, at the end of post-processing]. i am not shure 100 % (he does not respond to private messages) so... i tried with this tools that i mentioned, it can get close to or the same result when it comes to post-processing.

need to start experimenting with long exposures.

i know exactly how you feel :D

hey.. maybe we can start some threads based on themes.... like, make a theme "long exposure"... sort of an assignment.. and everyone go out and experiment with long exposures.. and post in that thread...

or, someone can come up with some other theme, and then we can all work with that one..

and idea maybe?

themes like: repetition, red, motion, bright light, reflection.. etc..

and we can all interpret how we like..

might be fun...

definitely count on me! make some noise in this room :D

i have a "tons" plugins-effects-vsti... and i can not make anything interesting, at least it sounds ok. I have an incredible inner need to express myself through music. result (mostly at the end is frustration. :(

how much time you need for only one track?

do you processing every instrument?
