Having said that, a dusty MS20 can't be bad
Your selling your G2 and keeping your G1, know you have to tell me more about this decision. I have never used the G2, but hear they do differ in sound a fair bit, but your going to sell it?
I am sure I will keep my G1, even if I do get a G2 in the future (££ depending), although I was eyeing the G1 keyboard the other day…I think it looks amazing, and I know I would use it even more if it looked that tasty, plus having a keyboard version would be a good addition and change the patching that little bit.
(I think I will be adding up a patch in Doepfer world this weekend…what have you done to me ha )
hey guys!
martin, G2´s are fantastic ..in fact was impressed years ago with some crazy patches I found from an EM user (think granular-chopping and freeze fx!), but right now I´m more interested in playing real instruments than programming in front of a screen. I love my old G1, and surely I´ll keep it for years, because is my all-time fav synth. and yes, for me it sounds (and looks!!) better than my Engine

agree with karl there are great modules out there (eurorack-samplers too?) and basic systems for your needs ...but right now need keeping simplicity and space at home. really happy with my guitars and old synths!
btw, I love these Buchla giant systems

salud!
