« on: April 12, 2013, 11:05:50 am »
I’m very happy and proud to announce the release of my h e r m e t i c EP on the wonderful Game Of Life label :

http://gameoflife.bandcamp.com/album/phisynth-h-e-r-m-e-t-i-c
http://gameoflife.bandcamp.com/

This release is mostly improv(ed)isations, a.k.a multilayered and slightly rearranged improvisations done on Serge and BugBrand modulars / Rob Hordijk Blippoo box / Max-MSP

please enjoy, and any comment welcome.

i've actually been thinking about re-releasing "pictures" on 12k to get a bit more exposure for it.

That would be amazing to release 'Pictures' on 12k, I had my eye on this years ago on ebay as obviously impossibly hard to find, (although not looked for years actually), and just typically forgot all about it and missed out. Really would love to get this, I think I have everything else pretty much he has done.

Good find Darren :)

FYI, 4 copies for sale ATM on discogs. Cheap also

listened to it twice today, very enjoyable listen overall

and also this, not the usual style on this forum but amazing nonetheless :

had to refrain jumping on the table. The guy with the glasses is particularly funny. I wonder was he might be doing during the set...

Jim O'Rourke - Two Organs

Ordered both vinyls from Dekorder for half the price in their "spring sales".
Specially Two Organs sounds really good to me :-)

ah ! you're the guy who bought it just before me, he told me it was already sold when I added it to my order ;)

...and listening to the new asher tape on Con-V. Really really nice, but waaay too short unfortunately.

i didn't know his work before, but the tomas ankersmit set was simply a_w_e_s_o_m_e.

His solo live album on Ash as well as his new collaboration with Valelerio Tricoli are a_w_e_s_o_m_e as well :-)

yes, already ordered these this morning, couldn't resist  :D

(was listening to yesterday evening)

touch label night with tomas ankersmit, hildur gudnadottir and mika vainio.

i didn't know his work before, but the tomas ankersmit set was simply a_w_e_s_o_m_e. he uses a serge analogue modular system and does part of the patching live. the sound was absolutely mind-blowing ! not to miss if he ever comes play close to you !
mika did an ultra loud pan sonic-esque gig, at one point people were suddenly lowering their head all together as if the ceiling was about to collapse :D
between the two hildur was a welcome, sweet & calm transition
