Hello!

New music vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQlsE3wqRUA&hd=1

Ten minutes of ever morphing 3D fractals in 720p.

Cheers,

Andreas

Second vid; live recording from a gig last month and more 3D fractal graphics. Lots faster in every sense than the previous vid.

Howdy forum!

First attempt at making a music vid! Thought it may be the sort of stuff you guys in here may enjoy. Texture galore.

SYNTHESIZERS + SOUND-MAKING HARDWARE / Re: elektron octatrack

It looks absolutely nuts! Finally something for us that is getting a bit envious of Abletons abilities, still don't want (or trust!) a computer in the music production. :)

There's also the +drive upgrade for MD UW! From 32 to 8000 samples is quite a leap. Hope it opens up for more realtime sampling memory as well.

It's amazing that they keep adding new hardware to the MD, upgrading OS and such. Getting close to ten years since the release! Not even is it actively supported, it's still the number one machine for what it does. It's my favourite box ever, so take this for what it's worth - a fan testemony. :D

STUDIO + RECORDING TECHNIQUES / Re: The Dreaded Ground Loop
« on: January 27, 2010, 09:47:32 am »
Ground lifts are illegal and deadly. If there is a fault and someone happens to touch the faulty gear, they'll be the ground rod. Bzzzz..

edit: the above was for power cables. lifting ground on audio cables is not dangerous as such, but the issue can usually be solved through other means!
